4E Version To Be Included!
about 2 years ago – Wed, May 04, 2022 at 03:57:01 PM

It's actually kind of surprising to see the level of interest in 4E all of a sudden. I know it's somewhat of a polarizing edition, but apparently there are people out there that still use it. Who knew?

That being said, here's what I'm going to do: when the 5E version is completed and sent to all backers, I intend to include the Digital PDF of the 4th Edition version as well. I need to check a few things just to make sure, like whether I'm even allowed to publish a 4E product (I'm assuming I am as the 4E GSL has not been revoked), but if I can I will include the Digital PDF of the 4E version to all backers.

Thank you all for the support today... we just passed 70%, which isn't bad for a first day on a project of this size. Let's see how tomorrow goes!

One Early Bird Left!
about 2 years ago – Wed, May 04, 2022 at 04:55:40 AM

As I write this, there is one "early bird" package remaining... That was an experiment, something I've never done before, and it seems like it kinda worked? People like that, I guess?

We also have gotten 28 people so far to request signed physical copies. I'll be honest: as much as I hesitated in dealing with physical product and shipping, I'm really looking forward to putting in a bulk order of product and have a case full of modules dropped on my doorstep.

As for the "mysery dice" option, although I certainly have enough dice to fulfill all of them, I'm seriously considering getting a bulk order of dice that are themed to the adventure. In other words, magma dice or fire dice or something. Don't quote me on that because I have yet to find reasonably priced dice I can order in the necessary volume, but we'll see what happens.

Once again, thank you all for a really pleasant first day and your continued support!

Crawling Towards 20%, Adjustment to Stretch Goals
about 2 years ago – Tue, May 03, 2022 at 04:38:05 PM

We just noticed that the first stretch goal was at the same amount as our funding goal, which is clearly not how it was meant to be... so we've bumped our stretch goals up a bit so that they make a little more sense.

That being said, thank you all for the support so far. Tell everyone you can, and if you do any promotion for us please send us some links we can share.

And to put everyone a little at ease, I wanted to let everyone know that work on this project has technically already begun...

First step in adventure conversion: do a crapload of stat blocks!

... so it's gonna happen one way or another. Your support ensures it's done faster and done right.

Finally, I'm debating about whether to make this conversion process into some sort of journal somewhere. I don't do video well, and videos would likely be a bit dull all things considered, so I'm not sure what it would end up being. We'll see what happens.

Thank you again for your support!
