Latest Updates from Our Project:

Last 24 hours!
almost 2 years ago – Mon, May 16, 2022 at 07:51:53 PM

We are in the last 24 hours of funding and I promised I wouldn't torture myself by refreshing this page every few minutes... so instead I wrote an app to do that for me.

I was sick all day yesterday and have a complicated day today so I might not get to promote as much as I'd like, but I am very pleased with how things are going and I can't thank y'all enough.

Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your pets... We still have a little more to go and are slowly inching to the potentially unrealistic stretch goal of $5K for interstitial art!

Thank you all for the support!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (Again!)
almost 2 years ago – Tue, May 10, 2022 at 05:26:23 AM

We have surpassed our SECOND stretch goal! Woo! Guess I'll be filling the island of Pyrias with some weird stuff to keep your party busy!

The next stretch goal is admittedly a bit out there at $5K, but it's not looking impossible at this point. I'm trying to be optimistic... humor me. I'd love to get some really special art done for the interior!

In the meantime, I'm trying to think of the best way to provide updates on the progress being done once work really begins. I was thinking my blog, but then everyone can see it so backers get nothing special (unless I hide links in Wordpress... is that a thing?). I was also thinking Patreon, but I don't want to double charge y'all. I'll think of something, but in any event I think that writing up how the conversion takes place and what my thought process is on the conversion as well as general adventure design might be interesting.

Once again, thank you for your continued support!

New Stretch Goal added!
almost 2 years ago – Sat, May 07, 2022 at 04:33:02 PM

I really dislike doing stretch goals... I'm panicky enough reaching the funding goal!

As suggested by a few others, I have added an overly ambitious stretch goal at $5K to add some interstitial art to the product. Right now the product has no art except for the cover and form the maps, but I'd like to get some specific pieces to highlight some of the places and things in the adventure. I'm not sure the scope of that yet, but if we somehow approach the goal I'll elaborate on it.

And I already have some artists in mind, but don't want to name names until that stretch goal seems reasonably possible.

I am also considering a $6K stretch goal to provide Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds support, but I've never done that before myself so I'd like to do some research on the level of effort before I commit to anything. Stay tuned for that!

Once again, thank you for your continued support!

Stretch Goal #1 Achieved
about 2 years ago – Fri, May 06, 2022 at 06:22:30 PM

We just passed the $3K mark, so everyone who's getting the adventure will also get the "hidden vault" section! And as I type this we are just $2 shy of this being our largest Kickstarter so far. Thanks everyone!

I have some ideas for more stretch goals, but I don't want to jinx it just yet. Let's keep going with what we got and see if we make the next one.

Thanks for the support!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Translation: We're FUNDED!

Can't thank y'all enough!

As I've stated before, work has already begun on this project by trying to convert the 4E monsters to 5E. I'm thinking about options on how I'll show progress on this project by journaling it somewhere... I don't know where yet. Maybe I'll start using my blog again? Patreon? I don't know yet.

Once again, thanks for the support! Now let's go after those stretch goals, shall we?
