Nothing gives me a greater joy than having a physical copy of one of my products in my hands!

It's thicker than I expected... it has a spine, which I did not account for in my cover layout so the cover itself is shifted a little to the left. That means I'll have to request a second proof, which will push fulfillment into January.

And I still haven't heard from my final editor, so... yeah...

Anyway, we're really close now!

End of Year Update!

This will most definitely be the last update before the end of the year.

Editing

I have one remaining editor that is "nearly done with the first pass." Although I'm fairly comfortable with the editing I've gotten so far, I'm going to give them a chance to complete it and see if they come up with anything that's been missed. Hopefully that will be soon but with the holidays who knows really.

Proof Ordered

I didn't want to wait for final editing to see what a hardcopy looks like, so I went ahead and ordered a proof from DTRPG print-on-demand. Dyin' to have a physical version of the product in my hands, and want to see if things like color and layout are OK even though it's not the final copy.

They originally said it would take 3 to 6 weeks to get the proof made, but they apparently did it in like three days. It's in the mail heading to me, but I'm having it delivered to my office address and we're closing down until the new year, so I should have it then.

Fulfillment

Once I have the proof, verify that it's OK, and have the final editing pass in... I'm going to get the copies to fulfill the hardcopy backer rewards here. That's about 32 copies, last I checked... Once I get those, I'll start mailing softcovers and dice!

I'm debating when and if I'll get an ISBN number for the product; as much as I'd like to have the product in the retail market, I'm not entirely sure how to go about that just yet. But backers come first, and we'll see what happens then.

Other Project

I'm still running another project on GameFound, The Mystery of Beacon Hill!. It's admittedly not doing as well as on Kickstarter, but it's moving along. Your support over there would be greatly appreciated!
